Earth Month 2013 illustration for the University of Iowa Office of Sustainability.
With this design, we wanted to reference different aspects of the Iowa City community and show how they are connected to sustainability. We created an abstracted tree form that is made up of various elements of sustainable culture. By bringing these seemingly disparate elements together we hope to show that each individual has a part to play and can contribute to positive environmental change. The main takeaway is that everything we do, whether it be art or business, can relate to sustainability on a human behavioral level. Collaboration with Andrew Desforges.
